Sericulture for socio-economic development in Kathua district

摘要

Sericulture in Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir has been desirable largely for the climatic conditions being conducive. Efforts by the developmental agencies to popularize sericulture have started yielding encouraging results with select adopted rearers in different villages across the district. Presented here is a story of initiatives and the success achieved.
