WORKSHOP ON BIVOLTINE SERICULTURE IN JAMMU & KASHMIR

A workshopon "Recent Trends in Development of Bivoltine Sericulture in Jammu & Kashmir" was jointly organized by Department of Sericulture, Govt. of J&K and Central Sericultural Research & Training Institute, Pampore, on October 29, 2011 at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre, Srinagar.The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Jenab Ghulam Hassan Mir, Hon'ble Ministerof Agriculture & Sericulture, Govt. of J&K. Speaking on the occa-sion, the Minister dwelt on the past glory of sericul-ture industry of the state, and expressed hope that the State can once again achieve the same status with concerted efforts made by the Sericulture Department and the Research Institute.
