Occurrence of Grasserie in Jammu & Kashmir: A threat to sericulture

Occurrence of Grasserie has seriously affected sericulture in Jammu and Kashmir. The authors dwell upon the causes for the spread, and the preventive steps needed for containing it. Jammu & Kashmir is one of the traditional sericultural states of India. It comprises of sub-tropical, temperate and cold arid regions covering Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, respectively.
