September 17, 2014 marked a memorable day in the development of sericulture when the sincerity and dedication of the women, contributing silently for the development of the sericulture and silk industry, has been felicitated by the Ministry of Textiles in the Workshop on "Empowering Women through Sericulture" at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
