Swachhta and Covid-19 Awareness Campaign Organised by St. John Ambulance Brigade

North Central Railway is observing Swachhta Pakhwara from 16th September to 2nd October. Besides intensive sanitatisation and cleanliness drives in different areas; creating awareness is an integral and important part of ongoing Swachhta Pakwara. In this connection a rally cum awareness campaign was organized by St. John Ambulance brigade to create awareness in railway colonies. Under the aegis of Central Hospital Prayagraj, members of St. John Ambulance brigade distributed mask, sanitizer, and pamphlets on Covid-19 related precautions in GRP, Malgodam and other Railway colonies at Prayagraj. During the campaign residents of railway colonies were informed on importance of social distancing norms, use of face cover/ masks, hand washing and personal hygiene habits. Railway employee and their family members were also made aware on symptoms of Covid-19 and advised to visit Central hospital Prayagraj for further screening in case they have symptoms like cough, fever etc. Brigade members advised residents in colonies that they need not be afraid of Covid-19 and urged them to follow all Covid-19 guidelines given by central and state government. This rally cum awareness campaign was coordinated and organized by CMS Praygraj Dr Sumant Bhal, ACMS Prayagraj Dr Rakesh Nigam, Sr DMO(Health) Dr Parvej, members of St. John Ambulance brigade Shri Pavan Kumar Yadav, Shri Alok Kumar Verma, Shri Uday Chandra Maurya etc.
