Metro Railway Observed 'Earth Hour'

Metro Railway observed the "Earth Hour" on 1 April, 2019 with a view to creating awareness among the common people to save energy and its effects on environment. As part of this programme, nonessential lights in various departments at Metro Rail Bhavan were switched off from 18.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs on that date. Metro Railway has already undertaken several energy efficient measures like replacement of LED lights at all the stations, viaducts, railway quarters, underground tunnels and service buildings.
