Foundation Stone Laid Down for Khalilabad-Dumariaganj-Utraula-Balrampur-Shravasti-Bahraich New Rail Line

Minister of Railways at a function organized under the distinguished presence of the then Minister of State of Railways and Minister of State for Communication (Independent Charge) Shri Manoj Sinha, at Junior High School ground, Khalilabad on March, 2019, laid the foundation stone of 240 kms. long Khalilabad-Dumariaganj-Utraula-Balrampur-Shravasti-Bahraich new rail line project. An amount to the tune of き 4940 crore has been allotted from central budget for this new rail line project which is targeted to be completed by the year 2024-25. This new rail line would pave way for the development of Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich districts. Earlier, Shri Rajiv Agrawal, General Manager, North Eastern Railway, in his welcome address said that railway is the prime mode of transport in the country.
