Boiler Drum Lifting Of Unit 1 Of Indira Gandhi Stpp Inaugurated

In a milestone development, the boiler drum lifting activity of unit one (500 MW) of Indira Gandhi super thermal power project, Jharli (Jhajjar in Haryana) was recently inaugurated by the Chief Minister of the State. The project with a capacity of 1500 MW (3 x 500 MW) is being set up by Aravali Power Company Private Ltd, a joint venture of NTPC Limited (50%), Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (25%) and Indraprashta Power Generation Company Limited (25%) with equity structure. The power generated from the project will be supplied to the beneficiaries Haryana and Delhi on 50:50 basis.
