Electronic fineness tester of jute and allied fibres

A new electronic jute fibre fineness meter has been developed with the aim to replace the manual air-flow fineness meter in order to eliminate the possible human error. This instrument is based on a microprocessor, pump motor and pressure sensors. It provides automatic results in 'tex' for the fibre under test. This handy instrument can also be used for other fibres by changing system parameters.
