摘要

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and carbon nanofibres (CNFs) can provide effective crack bridgings in cement-based composites and thus delay the transformation of nanocracks into microcracks. Most previous studies showed that the CNTs/CNFs reinforced cement-based composites have reduced porosities and improved mechanical properties compared to the plain ones. The utilisation of CNTs or CNFs in cement-based composites is challenging due to their poor dispersion in the matrix and the weak interfacial bonding between CNTs/CNFs and the matrix. In this paper, the recent researches on the application of CNTs and CNFs in cement-based composites were reviewed, and some expected further studies were proposed.
