Kudos to Justine Brown for her article on millennial engagement (Closing the Talent Gap, December 2012). What a tremendous story that brings it all together-and is something that I've been espousing and endorsing for years. Logistics is more than picking, packing, and shipping. As our industry struggles to recruit and compensate high-caliber employees who understand supply chain, technology and other issues, we need to put talented people on display-assuming they can be recruited and brought into the industry in the first place.
