In this study, we use the concept of entropy to quantify the perception of order and disorder. We defined the number of patterns perceived to be the same patterns in a group of different patterns as the perceptual number of state and then define perceptual entropy depending on the number. In experiments, two patterns consisted of dots were presented at the same time and subject judged whether they were the same or different. We examine the relation between the perceptual entropy and the perception of order and disorder of patterns. The results showed that the correlation between them is quite high, indicating that perception of order and disorder is related to perceived similarity of pattern.%本研究では,エントロピーの概念を用いて,知覚される乱雑さの定量化を試みた.
