In a digital image trading system, for protecting the copyright of images and users' privacy, an image to be purchased is segmented into two pieces, each of which is sent to the user and a trusted third party (TTP) respectively. TTP embeds a watermark into the piece received and forwards it to the user who reconstructs a watermarked image from the two pieces. Unfortunately, in the system, images are segmented without considering the contents, which may cause problems in copyright and privacy protection. In this paper, we propose a method which segments an image adaptively according to its saliency map. Experiments demonstrated that images were segmented appropriately. The images were watermarked and attacked in various ways. 87.1% of watermarks were then successfully extracted. These results indicate that our method is useful both for copyright and privacy protection.%デジタル画像取引において、販売者が画像を二つに分割し、一方を購入者、もう一方を信頼できる第三者機関に送り、第三者機関が電子透かしを入れたのち購入者が分割した画像を合成することにより、著作権と購入者のプライバシ保護の両立をしようとする研究がある。
