A Comment on “Sample-Size Determination for Achieving Asymptotic Stability of a Double EWMA Control Scheme”

Tseng and Hsu developed an approximate sample size formula for achieving asymptotic stability of a double EWMA control scheme. In this Comment, the corresponding exact expression is derived in terms of elementary functions. The numerical performance of the proposed approximation is assessed
