Whether listening to broadcast radior or testing developed wirelessr devices, for civilian or militaryr applications, based on terrestrial orr spatial links, a radio frequency (RF)r receiver with good measurement capabilities that preservesr the received signal information is required.r Today?s RF measurement receivers with widebandr capabilities are split into two groups based on ther measurement strategy they adopt. Both groups producer a time domain waveform with both amplituder and phase information that is constructed eitherr from a transformation of its frequency contents orr directly from its time-domain samples.
