Wind power is an alternative to other fuel energy. It is available in plenty of manner. It is renewable energy and we can distribute in a widely manner. It is very clean and at the time of operation no gas emissions. The production to the cost is similar t new coal and natural gas installation. At last 5,500 years ago we used wind power to sail boats and ships. For irrigation pumping and miling grain wind energy was used in the 7th century AD. To overtime energy shortage in India we can use renewable energy sources like wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, ocean, biomass energy and fuel cell technology. India may require 3-4 times more energy than the total energy consumed today. India consumptions 33% is from renewable energy account. India is taking optimistic steps towards carbon emissions, cleaning the air and ensuring a more sustainable future. At the outset the publication of article regarding Wind Energy and India also increase. In this paper the researcher analysis regarding the publications in very detail manner. The period is from the year 1999 to September 2011. Find out the Individual Authors Contribution, Geographical distribution, Year wise research in Wind Energy in India, Citation of article and, Ranking of Journals.
