Article describes novel way to think for the success of information centres. Suggests few effective and practical principles of success of private business in various fields, based on author's personal meetings with successful businessmen, who started their business with very small investment and have become excellent middle level successful business entrepreneurs. Author had applied these simple principles / advise for the success of National Information Centre for Textile and Allied Subjects (NICTAS). Author retired from NICTAS in 1998 and with a corpus fund of over Rs. 60 lakhs for future development of NICTAS. Author has got an opportunity to narrate the hidden success of NICTAS in this article.
