In this regular feature we show how improper benefits, compensation and HR practices led to costly fines and lawsuits against companies. Unbelievably, male managers at a Kansas restaurant made a female employee strip naked and jog in place because they suspected her of possessing contraband. That wasn't all. Turned out a phone call "tipping off" the employer to the alleged contraband was a prank. The managers thought it was from police. The company paid almost $200,000 to settle the woman's suit.
