Are you sure your independent contractors (ICs) are really independent, and not employees? You want to be sure, because the stakes riding on a correct answer will soon be going up. If you misclassify employees as ICs in the future, chances are you'll get socked with greater tax and other liabilities - in addition to the labor law penalties that DOL can impose.
