At one time or another, you've probably had the gnawing experience of trying to communicate with someone who just didn't seem to get it. That may have been due to a disconnect in communication styles. This is important stuff for HR: People don't all learn and communicate in the same way, and if you fail to catch on to someone's personal style, you may be doomed to misery in your dealings with them. It's important to know your own style, too. That way you can make allowances for your own leanings.
