A state compliance officer did not violate an Iranian Section 8 tenant's rights under the Fair Housing Act by reporting his failure to supply required documentation to his landlord, ruled the U.S. District Court for the District, of Kansas. Moore, No. Civ.A. 04-2343-KHV., 2006 WL 1320255 (D.Kan.), May 15, 2006) Azizallah Delkhah brought an action against the Kansas Division of Housing Development (KDHD) and Allene Moore, one of its compliance managers, alleging they discriminated and retaliated against him in violation of the Fair Housing Act and 42 U.S.C. Section 1983. Plaintiff also sued his landlord, a HUD employee, and his apart ment complex (Pine Tree), but he either settled or dropped those claims.
