NHT Launches Green Design Loan Program for Affordable Housing Preservation Projects

The National Housing Trust Community Development Fund (NHTCDF) has launched an affordable housing loan program that provides short-term predevelopment and bridge financing for preservation projects that incorporate energy- and resource-efficient sustainable development, and healthy living design features. Under the green lending initiative, NHTCDF will make a predevelopment loan to fund project feasibility studies, appraisals, market studies, environmental studies, due diligence, and design studies.
