A PHA seeking to terminate a public housing tenant's lease failed to provide the grievance procedure required by federal law, the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District, ruled, reversing the trial court's judgment for the PHA. On September 13, 2006, the Housing Authority of the City of Danville served a 30-day notice of termination on tenant Becky Love for failure to keep her apartment clean and free of trash and for an infestation of mice.
