NAHRO Supports Housing Trust Fund, Seeks Increase in HUD Funding

The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) in its 2008 legislative and regulatory agenda is calling for enactment of a national housing trust fund and higher funding than the Bush Administration has proposed for several HUD programs in fiscal 2009, including community development block grants (CDBG), HOME, public housing, and Section 8 vouchers.
