摘要

Most New Orleans public housing residents displaced by Hurricane Katrina want to return to the city, but not to public housing, according to a survey commissioned by the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO). The survey of more than 2,100 current and former public housing residents was done by the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). UTA hired Survey Communications, Inc. of Baton Rouge (S.C.I. Research), a national marketing research firm, to conduct the telephone survey.
