Omaha Housing Authority Renovates Historic Development, Sets Aside Public Housing Units

The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) acquired and rehabilitated the historic HUD-held Strehlow Terrace Apartments, setting aside 32 units in the 70-unit project as replacement public housing to help meet the requirements of a court order in a fair housing suit. The project has been renamed Ernie Chambers Court in honor of a long-time state senator.
