The Federal Reserve Board has amended the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) regulations (Regulation C) to increase the asset-size exemption from $36 million to $37 million. The change was published in the December 20 Federal Register. Accordingly, depository institutions with assets of $37 million or less as of December 31, 2007, are exempt from HMDA data collection in 2008.
