HUD has issued proposed fiscal 2010 Section 8 fair market rents (FMRs), and the department is also considering changes in the methodology for calculating FMRs.rnThe proposed FMRs were published in the August 4 Federal Register, and HUD plans to issue a separate notice outlining possible reforms in the way FMRs are determined.rnComments on the proposed FMRs and suggestions for changes in methodology should be submitted by September 2.
