HUD has provided guidance for the disclosure of fees and charges for FHA-insured mortgages on the new good faith estimate (GFE) and HUD-1 settlement statement developed under the revised Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) regulations.rnThe new forms must be used for mortgages originated on or after January 1, 2010, and HUD outlined the disclosure for FHA fees and charges in Mortgagee Letter 2009-53, issued on December 30.
