The Economic Development Administration (EDA) is making $6 million available for i6Challenge grants to promote technology commercialization and new venturernformation by targeting portions of the research-to-deployment continuum that need additional support.rnA funding notice was published in the May 4 Federal Register, and applications are due July 15. The EDA encourages potential applicants to submit letters of intent to participate, which must be sent by June 15.rnThe EDA expects to make at least six awards of up to $1 million each, with a goal of funding at least one applicant in each of the agency's six regions.
