NHT Survey Provides Recap of QAP Preservation Incentives

Most allocating agencies provide incentives for preservation projects in awarding low-income housing tax credits, including competitive scoring points, set-asides, and preferences, according to a National Housing Trust (NHT) survey of state qualified allocation plans (QAPs). The survey reflects final QAPs issued by allocating agencies as of December 1, 2010, according to Tracy Kaufman, NHT national preservation initiative director.
