Hud should provide additional reporting guidance to neighborhood stabilization program (NSP) grantees to ensure that they are selecting the appropriate out- put measures for different activities, according to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). The department adapted the existing disaster recovery grant reporting (DRGR) system for use by NSP grantees, and according to the report, because of variations in the way information has been entered, there could be problems in summarizing outputs without undercounting or overcounting.
