PHADA Pushes for Flexibility to Cope with Federal Funding Shortage

The Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA) plans to continue discussions with policymakers in the Administration and Congress about new flexibility in federal programs administered by housing authorities in an era of constrained federal funding. In addition to legislation that would deregulate small PHAs and voucher reforms, a PHADA working group has rolled out new recommendations that the group plans to detail further in future policy papers.
