Crowley Opposes GSE Reform Bill To Abolish Housing Trust Fund

The national affordable housing trust fund would be abolished under one of seven bills to reduce government support for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac drafted by House Republicans. The House Financial Services Committee's subcommittee on capital markets and government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) held a hearing on the bills on May 25.
