Kahla Receives iF Product Design Award 2010 For TAO Collection

German manufacturer Kahla is one of the winners of the renowned iF Product Design Awards for its TAO collection. This represents Kahla's 69th design award since 1994.rnNatural shapes, sensual contours and clean lines characterize TAO. The pieces resemble stones molded by water that one might find while walking along a beach. The idea for the harmonious form of the collection comes from the designer trio speziell~® from Offenbach. They have already enriched the selection of the KAHLA/Thuringen Porzellan GmbH with remarkably innovative ideas in the past.rnThe Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi chose TAO as the tableware for its four upscale restaurants.
