The first six months of 2014 will be chock-a-block with home furnishings trade shows, with the concentration particularly heavy in January through March involving thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands attendees. Two new shows will debut: Maison & Objet Asia, which will take place in Singapore from March 10-14; and the Heimtextil India home textiles trade show, which will be held in New Delhi from June 19-21. Long-running trade events have lined up a bevy of educational sessions and special events. And some suppliers are preparing their largest introductions to new products to address the improving economy.
