Coyuchi Elevates Mockus to ceo

Eco-friendly home fashions brand Coyuchi has named Eileen Mockus ceo and appointed her to the board of directors. Mockus most recently served as vp of product for Coyuchi and member of the interim office of the president. Prior to joining Coyuchi, she worked in textile production, sourcing and materials testing for such brands as North Face, Patagonia and Pottery Barn Kids. She recently spearheaded efforts leading to one of the largest product-line certifications to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), with Coyuchi products produced using fair-labor practices verified by in-country auditors. The home textiles brands' retail presence has been growing at 60% annually, according to the company.
