With kitchens becoming more colorful - and social - spaces, housewares manufacturers have responded with gusto, broadening the palette and offering cookware that is attractive enough to go from oven to table. While colorful cookware is obviously not a new concept - manufacturers like Le Creuset, Lodge, Cuisinart and others have long offered enameled cookware in a range of tones - there has been a new wave of cookware makers offering products in vibrant hues that stand out from stainless steel, cast aluminum and other standard cookware looks. "Colorful kitchen products are becoming more and more popular among Amazon customers," said Stacy Saal, director, Amazon Kitchen. Saal said that Amazon offers bright and earth tones on ceramic coated, non-stick coated, and porcelain enameling on aluminum and cast iron. "Red cookware, growing 100% year-over-year on average, appears to be the most popular with Amazon customers."
