As rug companies finish tallying up their final sales for 2015, they are setting their sights on the New Year's prospects. And hopes are high for 2016, heartened by improving sales trends in various channels and for better quality goods this year. Mohawk Industries' luxury division Karas-tan and furniture and rug dealer brand American Rug Craftsman are expecting to soon begin reaping the benefits of initiatives the company started this year to stimulate sales going forward. "We are seeing increased written business, more program placements, rapid new account development and solid growth with existing accounts," explained Brandon Cul-pepper, vp, specialty sales.
