SureFit acquires Protect-A-Bed

SureFit Home Decor, a manufacturer of home textiles to the retail and hospitality industry, announced Sept. 28 that it had purchased sleep accessories producer Protect-A-Bed. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition of Protect-A-Bed, headed by lames Bell, CEO, will allow SureFit Home Decor to expand its presence into additional retail channels and offer new products to existing customers. It will also introduce the company's existing collections to a new sector of consumers, further expanding SureFit's global reach and market share, officials said. "The Protect-A-Bed brand represents a significant addition to the current portfolio of home textiles products offered in our consumer and hospitality divisions," said SureFit Home Decor CEO Jeffrey Werner. "James's team has built a tremendous brand and brings a strong passion and expertise in innovation and education to the mattress protection category, and we are very happy to have them on board."
