ART CONFERENCE DONATES TALENTS TO NEW ORLEANS HOUSING PROJECT

Putting their abilities to the test, those attending this year's ART Conference, sponsored by the Accessories Resource Team (ART), will be donating time and energy to the Saratoga Square project of the Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative, which focuses on serving families through education on home ownership and community development. Taking place May 17-20 in New Orleans, the ART Conference will be changing its previous workshops involving local retail stores in order to furnish at least one room in four homes in the development. Attendees will install the furnishings and participate in any other appropriate volunteer efforts during the afternoon exercise.
