Model 6800 automated urinary sediment analyzer

As a follow-up on the recently developed automated urine qualitative analyzer, Hitachi has recently developed the model 6800 automated urinary sediment analyzer. This system is capable of directly measuring urine samples using the flow cytometry method, and features automatic sorting of urinary sediments. Thus, medical technologists can easily carry out urinary sediment analyses without any manual sample preparation such as centrifugation, decantation, and microscopic observation.
