摘要

To assess the role of nitric oxide (NO) in hepatic injury, the effects of L-arginine, an NO donor, and H~G-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME), an inhibitor of NO synthase, on D- galactosamine-induced fulminant hepatic failure were examined. Four-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed a control diet (CE-7) containing 1/100 of L-arginine of a diet supplemented with 5/100 of L-arginine for 6 weeks.
