Aggregate Industries and Tarmac are among the bidders for a £500,000 package covering the first phase of surfacing works on a westbound section of the M8 from River Almond to Livingston for Transport Scotland. Tenders are back and a start on site has been scheduled for August with work, which will be supervised by BEAR Scotland, set to run for six months, Balfour Beatty, Enterprise, Murphy and Tarmac are chasing places on a £3 million minor works schedule of rates framework for Merseytravel.
