What sort of person are you? Dedicated and determined to get the job done and enthusiastic about the industry we work in. It is up to other people to judge me as a person but I hope they see me as a pretty decent one. How did you get into the industry? I came into this industry when I accepted the job as Editor of Surveyor magazine ten years ago. I am trained journalist, so that bit was fine but finding out how this often complex sector works was a challenge at first, but one that I enjoyed. Since I have been a part of the industry I have found the people that work in it both interesting and engaging. Whether you work in the public or private sector, often the challenges and opportunities remain the same and I have been encouraged to see more collaboration in the industry over the past few years.
