Rethinking On Some Significant Issues On Public Library Development With Special Reference To North-east India

States the geographical; educational and cultural position of seven states comprising North-East Region of India, stating the library development efforts made by the states and through the North Eastern Council. Highlights the inadequate library facilities inspite of the Nation-wide efforts to enact library legislation promoting book culture and the plan for the development of rural libraries, impact of new technology and establishment of the Book Museum.
