Tony Bolton tries the latest version of the Hadcock unipivot tonearm, now with cryogenically-treated wiring inside and out, and finds it a real performer. Regular readers will be aware that I am a fan and keen user of the Hadcock 242 Integra pick-up arm. Although occasionally a little fiddly to set up, I find it provides excellent sound quality for the price and, as someone who plays records of all three speeds and groove formats, I like the convenience of being able to swap arm tubes pre-mounted with the appropriate cartridge and weights.
