During the Second World War, Arnold Sugden formed his engineering company in Brighouse, Yorkshire. Initially making precision tools, he soon expanded into the manufacture of audio-related equipment. Due to their fantastic build quality, I personally believe these early Connoisseur transcription decks deserve more recognition and value today.
