That policy was violated with the recent purchase of an Oppo BDP-83, a universal optical disc player that loads Blu-rays quicker than most machines load ordinary DVDs. Two trusted friends had purchased this machine directly from Oppo Digital (in California's Silicon Valley) and raved about it.
