Forget the economic downturn for a moment: things may be tough, but undaunted were the audio hardcore from visiting John Howes' semi-annual flea market in Tonbridge, Kent, in mid-October. John's annual February events have been so successful, even with eBay as the 600lb gorilla in the room, that stall-holders implored him to run a second event in October as well. And even during the very worst week of the current financial crisis, the show was bustling with buyers, sellers and the plain curious.
